Wall Wine Racks

Wall wine racks allow for wine storage without taking up too much room. These racks can be any size or style. When choosing a wine rack, always keep in mind the size of one’s wine selection. Adding wine to a wine rack is easier than finding racks that match the style and space already allotted for one’s wine selection.

Because a wine should be stored in cooler conditions, finding the right wood wall wine rack is important. Always look for tropical wood materials in order to keep mildew and rot from occurring. Birch, oak and cherry should be avoided, as they tend to mildew in damn environments.

Metal wall wine racks can be intricate and decorative or durable for wine storing. When choosing a metal rack, keep in mind the conditions, which create a suitable wine-storing environment: cooler temperatures, 70% humidity, and avoiding high light exposure and vibrations. The metal wall rack should then provide a stable and secure location for wine. It should not be located in a warm area as metal can hold and radiate heat.

When storing wine, remember to label bottles in order to avoid continual removal and rolling of bottles. Taking an inventory, building a database, labeling shelves or adding wine tags are excellent ways of maintaining a proper wine cellar.
